FAQ
Web scraping API questions, answered.
What you can fetch, how difficult pages are handled, what requests cost, and the fastest way to connect your project.
What is this API for?
It retrieves content and response metadata from public web pages through one HTTP endpoint. Use it for AI agent research, monitoring, content processing, data collection, and other server-side workflows.
Can it fetch JavaScript-heavy or difficult pages?
Yes. Hard mode uses a browser-capable access path for pages that basic HTTP requests cannot retrieve. Auto mode tries the lower-cost Easy path first, then escalates when needed. No service can guarantee success on every website.
Can I connect it with Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor?
Yes. After creating a key, copy the ready-made AI coding prompt. Your agent can add the server-side client, environment variable, error handling, tests, and a usage example to your existing project.
What does a successful response contain?
The response includes page content, final URL, HTTP status, content type, the access mode used, request ID, charge, and remaining balance.
Do failed requests cost money?
No. A final failed request is free. If Easy fails and Hard succeeds, only the Hard request is charged.
Do I need an account or subscription?
No email, password, OAuth login, or subscription is required. Create an API key, save the one-time credentials, and add only the balance you need.
What content can I fetch?
Publicly accessible HTTP and HTTPS pages. Private, local, and authorization-protected resources are not supported.
How do Easy, Hard, and Auto differ?
Easy is the lower-cost path. Hard is for more difficult pages. Auto tries Easy first and uses Hard only when necessary.
How do I add balance?
Choose a supported USDT network and top-up amount. The payment page shows the exact USDT amount, address, network, QR code, and live payment status.
